In celebration of National Skilled Nursing Care Week, which was May 13-19, we asked San Simeon staff and volunteers to share stories of how they or someone they know was touched by their experiences at San Simeon. People shared special memories of a visit or experiences with residents on cards that were then displayed around the facility during the month of May.
While we got many cards with many heartfelt stories, we thought that this one summed it up nicely:
God taught me a valuable lesson about life while at San Simeon: “We are never too old to make new friends!” Thanks to each one of you for being a part of my life and a new dear friend.
