In our dedication to developing a community that is true to our East End locale we are pleased to offer meals that are primarily locally sourced. Our residents delight in delicious nutritionally balanced meals, with seafood, fruits and vegetables from local farms and suppliers. Residents may wish to dine in one of our beautifully appointed dining rooms, the outdoor patio or the comfort of their own room.
Our dedicated social work staff is highly skilled with their primary mission to advocate for and support resident and their families through counseling and other support services, including resident and family councils.
Families are often amazed by our full offering of lively and varied recreational and activity programs including live entertainment and outside trips including Foxwoods Casino, Belmont Racetrack, local restaurants, movie theaters, NYC, Atlantis Marine World, and much more. Additional activity and recreation programs include pet therapy, arts and crafts, music therapy, adult education, gardening, computer classes, bingo, volleyball, movies and various discussion groups. Multi-denominational religious services are also available.
Attune to the needs of the entire family, we offer services to provide transportation for family members to visit residents with prior notification kindly requested. We have a beautiful, large and recently renovated patio area with a serenity garden for resident and family use, along with computer stations and free high-speed internet access throughout the building.
