An Important Update From Our Administrator

Dear Family Members,

I am pleased to report that we continue to have no confirmed or suspected cases of COVID-19 in our building. Our staff have worked tirelessly to ensure the safety of your loved ones and the results of those efforts are evident. While we realize the odds are against us keeping it out forever, we are heartened we have been successful thus far and will continue our high level of diligence to ensure it stays out as long as possible.

We continue to be appreciative of your cooperation and understanding related to visitation restrictions. We realize the strain this places on many of you however it is a necessary component of successfully keeping the virus at bay.

In addition to many family members and Board members providing food and other treats for our staff, we would like to take a moment to thank some local businesses that have also helped get us through these trying times:

• Many family members and Board members – lunch and other edible treats for staff
• Wendy’s Deli – lunch for staff
• Sterlington Deli – lunch for staff
• Greenport Brewery, Rich Vandenberg – provided face shields
• Dent Serv – provided surgical masks
• Matchbook Distilling – provided sanitizer

We sincerely appreciate the kindness and generosity of our community partners, without whom making it through this crisis would be very difficult.

Please continue to call the facility with any concerns you may have.

Stay safe and be well.
