Thursday, May 20th COVID-19 Update

Dear Resident / Family Member,

As you are most probably aware, the Governor has revised the COVID-19 protocols for New Yorkers. He has eliminated mask mandates and capacity limits for vaccinated individuals in most settings. Please be aware, however, that he did not change any of the requirements related to nursing home visitation. Therefore current visitation rules remain in place. These rules include visitation by appointment only, in the daycare area or outside under the tents, and while wearing masks regardless of your, or the residents, vaccination status.

We share your desire to return to a more normal visitation experience but until it is deemed safe to do so per the Governor and NYS Department of Health, we must keep the current protocols in place. As the restrictions lighten, we will continue to modify our procedures and keep you informed of any changes accordingly.

Thank you for your continued understanding. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
