Tuesday, March 16th COVID-19 Update

Dear residents and family members,

I am pleased to report that ongoing resident testing has identified no new cases of COVID-19. Resident testing is ongoing, several times per week, per NYSDOH regulations. Our employee testing efforts revealed a positive result on March 7th (previously reported to you), and as a result our ability to allow in person visitation has been suspended through March 22nd. Barring any additional employee positive results between now and the 22nd, we will reopen to visitors on that date.

Please be aware that currently, the seven day positivity rate for Suffolk County is 4.42%. As long as this rate remains below 10%, visitors DO NOT need to provide proof of a negative COVID test in order to visit with residents.

Please refer to our website for additional information related to visitation requirements.

Warm regards,

Steve Smyth
