At San Simeon by the Sound, we’re fortunate to have volunteers running some of our residents’ favorite programs. One of these volunteer-run programs is a specialized art class.
This art class is taught by local artist Ellen Williams and is offered on a weekly basis. Trained in both arts and education, Ellen Williams has been volunteering at San Simeon by the Sound for over 15 years.
After assessing the individual capabilities of the participating residents, she designs a plan for each of them. Each resident is given a personalized book containing their finished art projects making for a lovely keepsake.
