Read a Recipe for Literacy (RRL) has been partnering with San Simeon for some years now, and very successfully. Our RRL children are great ambassadors of communication, and they enjoy sharing their stories with the residents at San Simeon.
The children have learned a great deal from the residents at San Simeon who willingly share their real-life stories with them. The impact of the inter-generational activities that occur each time our children visit San Simeon cannot be underestimated.
